I do believe everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. However name calling (" You must be one dumb broad") is uncalled for. Just because I believe in something does not make be dumb!
I believe that science and medicine has greatly helped in naming and curing illnesses. We have come a long way. And yet it may be true that drug companies try to cash in on another "illness", some of these drugs have worked wonders. I'm sorry to rant but I posted another bulletin about Social Phobia (social anxiety) and was told I must be dumb to believe in all these made up diseases. This is what I posted off the internet, I didn't write it.

I do know people who suffer from this disease. It is real and the person who was name calling should respect others opinions. We don't all have to agree on things but to name call is being close-minded and ignorant.

Was he/she a doctor? Name calling is childish and ignorant.
ADHD is very much real and when the parents decide to put the child on meds the difference in behavior is unbelievable. I know that not everyone accepts medicating the child as an option, but it make the situation much more tolerable for everyone around including the child.
This person who is name calling has probably not worked or been around a child with this type of disability.
I think its really sad that people are so ignorant to these VERY REAL illnesses. They probably suffer from them as well but are too proud to admit it and seek help. Thank God that research has and continues to find ways to help those who suffer with these illnesses. As for the name calling....just another form of their ignorance.
Amen to that!
